[2025] Participation in the Korean Society for Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism (Brain & Brain PET)

Bredis Healthcare participated in the 32nd International Conference on Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism, Brain & Brain PET 2025, held at COEX in Seoul on June 1, 2025.

This conference is a biennial event hosted by the International Society for Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism (ISCBFM), a global academic organization dedicated to research on cerebral blood flow and metabolism, and was co-organized by the Korean Society for Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism and the Korean Society of Nuclear Medicine. It was particularly significant that Korea secured the right to host this international conference—which drew approximately 1,000 experts in brain science, radiology, neuroscience, and nuclear medicine from over 30 countries worldwide—after overcoming a 4-to-1 competition ratio.

The conference featured in-depth discussions on the latest research findings related to neurovascular and metabolic diseases—such as stroke, dementia, and vascular cognitive impairment—as well as high-resolution fMRI and PET imaging technologies, AI-driven automated diagnostics, and the pathophysiological mechanisms of brain diseases at the cellular and molecular levels, including microglia, the brain lymphatic system, and cerebrospinal fluid drainage pathways.

Through booth operations and networking, Bredis Healthcare introduced its ultra-sensitive biomarker analysis platform, SIMOA, and demonstrated the potential of precision bioanalytical solutions in the fields of cerebral blood flow and metabolic research to experts from around the world.

It was a meaningful experience to interact directly with global researchers at this world-class international brain science conference held in Korea, and it served as an opportunity to further expand Bredis Healthcare’s international presence.
