[2025] Participation in the 8th Neuroscience Forum on Alzheimer's Disease (NFAD)

Bredis Healthcare participated in the 8th Neuroscience Forum on Alzheimer’s Disease (NFAD), held in Gwangju on February 21, 2025.

The forum was organized by the Gwangju Dementia Cohort Research Group at Chosun University and the Asian Dementia Research Foundation, and was attended by approximately 200 participants, including clinicians, neuroscientists, biomedical engineers, and industry experts. A total of 21 presentations were delivered across four symposia covering plasma biomarkers and metabolomics, neuroinflammation and the microbiome, AD immunotherapy, and AI & digital assessment. A wide range of the latest research findings were shared, ranging from trends in the latest treatments such as lecanemab and donanemab to early diagnosis based on blood biomarkers.

In particular, Hwang Hyun-doo, CEO of Bredis Healthcare, delivered a lecture titled “Recent Advances in Digital Immunoassays for Ultrasensitive Detection of Biomarkers,” discussing the latest trends in digital immunoassay technology for ultra-sensitive biomarker detection and its potential clinical applications with domestic researchers.

Taking the stage as a speaker provided an opportunity to build deeper trust with the domestic dementia research community, and we will continue to actively contribute to advancements in the field of Alzheimer’s disease.
