JEI University and BREDIS Healthcare Sign Industry-Academia Cooperation Agreement in Digital & Bio Fields
JEI University (President Namsik Lee) announced on the 2nd that it has signed an industry-academia agreement with BREDIS Healthcare Co., Ltd. (Co-CEOs Hyundoo Hwang and Jina Kim) to cultivate specialized talent in the digital bio field. BREDIS Healthcare has been recognized for its expertise in practical, industry-linked talent development and R&D, having been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Deep Tech TIPS program. The company has distinguished itself in the bio-healthcare field, including through its Alzheimer's risk analysis service and a domestic patent for its ultrasensitive biomarker detection method. Under the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate on: information exchange in digital bio technology R&D and related industries; information exchange in engineering, medicine, and convergence technology fields; expanding convergence technology research and commercialization with affiliated research institutions and related companies; and jointly developing curricula and extracurricular programs for the Department of Digital Biotech. The signing ceremony was attended by Byungjo Han, Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation at JEI University, Jeonghoon Nam, Head of the Department of Digital Biotech, and BREDIS Healthcare Co-CEOs Hyundoo Hwang and Jina Kim. "Through mutual cooperation in engineering, medicine, and convergence technology, we aim to establish JEI University as a leading institution in the digital bio field," said Jeonghoon Nam, Head of the Department of Digital Biotech at JEI University. Co-CEOs Hyundoo Hwang and Jina Kim of BREDIS Healthcare said, "We expect this agreement to make a significant contribution to industry development and job creation in the digital bio-healthcare field for both organizations."
