BREDIS Healthcare (Co-CEOs Hyundoo Hwang and Jina Kim), winner of the Campus League Award, provides a blood test-based solution for early dementia diagnosis and preventive management.
The company holds Digital ELISA (digital immunoassay) technology roughly 10,000 times more sensitive than conventional blood tests, combined with proprietary data analysis technology. Using these technologies, a simple blood test can determine whether Alzheimer's-related dementia is progressing or whether an individual is at risk of cognitive decline within the next three years.
The technology was granted a domestic patent last month and is currently under international patent application. BREDIS Healthcare currently provides its services to university hospitals and research institutions in Korea.
