On February 6, 2026, BREDIS Healthcare participated in the 9th Neuroscience Forum for Alzheimer's Disease (NFAD), held at L7 Chungjang by Lotte in Gwangju.
Under the theme "A Paradigm Shift in Overcoming Dementia — Blood-Based Diagnosis, Innovative Treatments, and AI," the forum featured nine symposiums focused on sharing the latest research findings and clinical experience in the field of Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Topics ranged from the clinical application of blood-based biomarkers and the latest developments in anti-amyloid immunotherapies to AI and digital diagnostic technologies and research on neuroinflammation and lysosomal pathology, driving in-depth discussion among industry, academia, research institutions, and hospitals on the path toward overcoming dementia.
A highlight of the forum was a talk delivered by BREDIS Healthcare CEO Hwang Hyun-du, titled "Beyond Digital Immunoassay: Introducing NULISA, a New Era of Ultrasensitive Proteomics," in which he introduced NULISA to fellow experts as a next-generation ultrasensitive proteomics technology that goes beyond conventional digital immunoassays.
At a moment when blood biomarker-based diagnostic technology is emerging as central to overcoming dementia, this was a meaningful occasion for BREDIS Healthcare to present a new technological paradigm at the very forefront of the field.
