[2025] BREDIS Healthcare Attends Brain & Brain PET 2025, Hosted by the Korean Society for Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism
On June 1, 2025, BREDIS Healthcare participated in Brain & Brain PET 2025, the 32nd International Conference on Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism, held at COEX in Seoul. The biennial conference is hosted by the International Society for Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism (ISCBFM), the world's leading academic organization in cerebral blood flow and metabolism research, and was jointly organized this year by the Korean Society for Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism (KSCBFM) and the Korean Society of Nuclear Medicine. The event carried particular significance as Korea secured the hosting rights through a competitive bidding process with a 4-to-1 ratio, drawing approximately 1,000 experts in brain science, imaging, neuroscience, and nuclear medicine from around 30 countries. The conference featured the latest research on stroke, dementia, vascular cognitive impairment, and other neurovascular and metabolic diseases, alongside in-depth discussions on high-resolution fMRI and PET imaging technologies, AI-driven automated diagnostics, and cellular- and molecular-level disease mechanisms involving microglia, the brain's glymphatic system, and cerebrospinal fluid clearance pathways. Through its exhibition booth and networking activities, BREDIS Healthcare introduced its ultrasensitive biomarker analysis platform, SIMOA, to domestic and international experts, showcasing the potential applications of precision biomarker analysis solutions in cerebral blood flow and metabolism research. Engaging directly with global researchers at this world-class international conference on brain science, held on Korean soil, was a meaningful experience that further expanded BREDIS Healthcare's international standing.
