On February 23, 2024, BREDIS Healthcare participated in the 7th Neuroscience Forum for Alzheimer's Disease (NFAD), held at the Venezia Hotel in Yeosu.
Under the theme "Toward Universal Early Prediction and Prevention of Dementia," the forum drew around 200 attendees, including clinical experts in neurology and psychiatry, neuroscientists, and industry professionals.
Five symposiums covered a range of topics — including the latest trends in Alzheimer's disease treatments, blood-based biomarkers, digital biomarkers and AI applications, and neuroinflammation and the microbiome — sparking active discussion on the latest research findings and pathways to practical application in the fight against dementia.
A highlight of the forum was a talk delivered by BREDIS Healthcare CEO Hwang Hyun-du, titled "Recent Trends in Blood-based Biomarker Detection Technologies for AD and Their Clinical Applications," in which he shared the latest developments in blood biomarker detection technology for Alzheimer's disease and its potential clinical applications with researchers across Korea.
Going beyond simple conference attendance, BREDIS Healthcare remains committed to engaging directly with the research community to advance the field of precision biomarker analysis.
